So the sub amp mounts under the drivers seat and the 4.1 mounts under the steering column? and will the sub amp fit with power seats?

Yes, on some models, like the Chevy the 4.1 mounts behind the kick panel (as long as there are not adjustable pedals)

Will not hurt if power seats are present.

I have power seats, and the sub amp actually mounts to the same bracket that holds all the wires for your power seats. I love how compact the amp is that it mounts out of the way and out of sight.

Goose any word on the new 13-14 amps from kicker soundgate? Really wanting to upgrade my system. Also if you really want to get everything out of that kicker system install sound deadening like damplifier pro. I did all four doors, door skins, and under and behind rear seats. Waiting for the speaker amp and powered sub combo for the 13-14s. Kicker needs to get moving been waiting 3 months or more. They are missing out on $$$.

Hipps, i agree, have not heard feedback. I will ask my OEM dept Monday again, see how much has actually changed on the plug.

Not one yet, the harness changed in the '13's and '14. Sub will fit, the 4.1 amp just needs the newer harness to match the newer plug.

That's the problem Talon, a measly plug takes 2 years to develop. Mopar has there part line through kicker, but kicker has soundgate so they can develop one too. I just don't get why some after market company hasn't come up with one yet as well. Soon we will be into 2015 ram trucks and no answer for 13-14. This is a huge market of trucks because no one wants to cut into the oem wiring. Missing out on $$$$. Patiently waiting.

Alright. Hopefully I didn't get ripped on this. Just ordered the Soundgate from HiFiSoundConnection online. I chatted w a rep first who verified they had NEW units in stock. So I went to the site where they are selling for $699.99. There is also a MAKE OFFER button. I made a offer of $430.00 and the site took it!!! Pretty stoked on saving some extra cash.

Luckily the business is only about 3 hours from my house. So if I get ripped, I'll be sure to schedule a ass whoopin. I'll keep you guys posted.

i am very interested in this kit for my 2013 quad cab, with the very basic stereo system it has now, it is very sad. LOL

I hope a solution comes soon for the 2013 plug...

Great thread. I just wanted to make sure I am understanding the information correctly. This setup will not work in a 2014 Express Quad with a base system because it requires a different wiring harness?

Damn...that's a hell of a savings. Keep us posted on how it looks when you get it. I may order through them if all is good.
