I was under the impression that the head units on our trucks couldn't be changed because they operate other functions in the truck besides the radio. Maybe this has changed. If it has, are there any head units available that are plug and play for a 2016 with 8.4 Alpine that don't cost thousands of dollars? If not plug and play, what needs to be done to install something like the Kenwood DMX7704s?
