New Speakers install

I took out the KRX3 3way set and upgraded to the Utopia be No 7 active kit. These are some of the best speakers I have heard. The musical reproduction is amazing. The pod in the pic is where I originally put the mid but found the dash to be the proper place for imaging.

Factory 8.4 to a mosconi 6to8 v8 processor. Amps: Mosconi AS 200.4 for the woofers and mids and the Mosconi AS 100.2 for the tweeters

Are you using the be no 7 cross block?
I had the opportunity to hear that Focal set a few years ago at a local sound-off. Installed in a BMW 7 series. Simply beautiful sounding speakers. Enjoy!

I bought the active set. No sense in having the crossblock when I'm using the 6to8 for all of my settings. DRkNESS....I like the Brax setup.

^^^. I don't blame you there as that would just be a cost that is not needed. Thanks for the compliment, but I've since sold them and have new plans on the horizon for the next vehicle.

Beautiful work! Always loved Focal and the Be is amazing.

Just about done with my new system. I've been considering swapping out the TRU B22-S for a Mosconi Zero 3 to drive my AD ESA midbasses.

I have a passive 3 way focal setup similar to yours. I have the 3-way focal access. I, like you, ended up mounting the mid in the dash however I could not get the stock grill to fit over the speaker in the hole. I ended up making a new dash plate and have the speaker sitting on top. I was wondering if you are using the oem grill and what you did to the dash to get it to fit.

^^^what I ended up doing is making a mount out of 1/4 inch MDF, i used the factory dash speaker frame as a template for making the mount. It's tideous work but gave my the result I wanted. With the new mount all I had to do was angle the grill up a little higher and wiggle the tabs through the holes. It was a little tight but worked out fine.
