New sub box headed my way!

Time for the Foxxy to go, just didn't want the ported sound anymore........so I started thinking about a new box. Just so happened that Morgan (myoung84) posted up that he was about to make a new one for himself.......so.....how about you make 2 buddy?

10" sealed fiberglassed / carpeted box. I will have it Thursday, hope to have time to get the other one swapped out before the GTG this weekend!

What's the sound difference? And did you just swap out the sub or did you need a new amp? (SOrry I don't know much about this stuff)

this one will fit in the stock location without lifting the seats.......and I'm sure that a 12 could be done. I think.

Ported is louder.....but only at a certain tone. Well, thats nice......when you are in the tone. Outside of it, not so much. I just like the punchiness of the sealed. Just better for my style of listening. No new sub or amp needed, I'll swap those in from the current setup.

The stock amp is behind the parking break release. It sucks!

to keep the setup the way it is. stock is staying. if i had the base radio it would have been all ripped out already since I have a complete aftermarket system sitting at home.

I listen to a wide variety of music. Mostly alternative, some rap. For me, sealed has always been better.
