I never gave it a thought till I was asked. Is there a way to start a 2015 3500 without the fob? Is there a place where a key, that I don't think I have , might be hidden in order to start the truck and where?

If you have the push button ignition, no. Why would you want a secret hidden spot to put a key?

There should be a spot to plug in the fob in case the battery dies. It's a poorly designed system if not.

You simply press the button with the fob if the battery dies

But then someone can break in and start your truck right?

After some searching, challengers can flip down the push to start button and plug the key in. Ram might have a passive rfid chip that the truck will sense even with a dead fob.
