No sound from radio

I have an interesting problem. I was listening to the radio and everything was fine. I switched to the CD player and again all is well. Switched back to Radio and no sound. It tunes stations when you scan. It even gives info on the song playing just cant hear it. Sirius also works. Just no sound when Radio selected. This is the stock system. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Which radio 3.0 5.0 or 8.4? Try either pulling the negative terminal for 30 minutes or hard resetting the radio

its neither its a 2012 its the old stand alone radio.

being that its 5 years old it could have seen its life and something internally is wrong.
