No uconnect in Alaska?

I knew there was no uconnect throughout Canada but I cant get it in Alaska either. Trying to get the Wi-Fi but there is no answer through the assist feature. Is this supposed to work up here or is it the same issue as Canada?

Probably not. They won't guarantee any type of satellite radio up there.

In Canada, it's because they shut down the CDMA network. Or was it GSM? One of them! So, it's possible that Alaska also lacks one of them.

Which is total ********... Like, I get it, Canada has like 10% of the population as the US, but still, it wouldn't be hard to change the radio from CDMA to GSM. Cell phone companies are all doing it, as is the REST of the world. Sometimes the whole "America is #1" thing shines through in the weirdest places... lol.

welcome to Alaska.....it sucks lol. no satellite radio either.

I'm ok without satellite radio, as long as I don't have to live outside.
