NVX comps

Anyone try these out in our Ram's yet? NVX XSP6ACT 6.5" X-Series Active Component Car Speakers System
I've been around to know that SB acoustics make them and that is a hellva speaker building company but no one really has any real world knowledge on them.

Let me know what you guys think, one of my friends is looking at a Ram and she wants loud and clear.

I haven't used any of their speakers or amps, but I have used NVX wiring and RCAs and they were top notch. I know that doesn't help, but I wouldn't be afraid of trying them out.

Yeah if it was my money I would for sure try them but its not, good to know about the wiring and RCA's though. Thanks

I just installed those in my buddys 07 Silverado. Currently there being powered of a Pioneer-2700bt and they sound great. Really fills out the sound in his crew cab.

Are you using the passive xovers or did you get the active set?

They look real nice for the price. If I was in the market, I would give these a try for sure.

Yeah that's what I keep hearing so I think I'm going to present them to her and see if the price is appropriate.

I second that NVX make quality wiring and RCA's I use them in my truck. I have heard nothing but good things about all NVX products.

There active , he has a 5 channel nvx amp on the way. I pre wired his truck for the amp, I used nvx 4 gauge amp kit with 4 channel and 2 channel rca's and used there 14 gauge speaker wire to the front doors and stock on the rears, we ran them off the deck to test them out but they are currently unplugged.

You will have to let use know how it goes and what are you guys using for xovers? I think these would be a good set to use with one of the new pioneer decks.
