Hey all
I'm new here and old so be gentle on me.
I see reference to RA1 to Ra? radio/whatever upgrades. What are the RA designations in regards to year, model whatever?
I'm trying to understand what will fit my 2011 1550 ST and what won't. My current package is the 130s/rez

It's the new generation of radios. You probably have the last generation radio that should have 3 letters in the bottom right corner. Not interchangeable, completely different wiring harness.

Thanks Stimpy. yes it has a 3 letter code in the bottom right corner.

So I am limited to what I can do is what you are saying.

OP since you have a "base model" radio in a '11 IMO go with an aftermarket. it will sound much better and have more functionality then any of the factory radios did from '09-12.

Aftermarket is what I am going to do. I am buying the Kenwood dnx572 from coolemoff1.
