Driving home the other night in the snow and my parking sensors started freaking out. completely covered in snow is there a way to disable the parking sensor temporarily during winter months?

don't always have time to get out and clean them off while driving down the street/in traffic.

thanks in advance

I'm not too familiar with the new trucks but my '12 has a button on the dash that allows me to turn off the alert tone when in reverse.

I'll have to look. I was trying to silence it through the touch screen control menu.

Turned it off last night on my way home I guess I never noticed the buttons because every other control is used through the interface and I rarely use the actual buttons. Found them felt like a complete ass because its literally staring you in the face.
