Passive Entry/Keyless Enter ’n Go when unlocking no sound

I have the Passive Entry/Keyless Enter ’n Go system. I've noticed that when I lock the vehicle the horn sounds when locking from the key fob or the door handle. When I unlock the truck I get no sound. I can't find a setting in the Uconnect to enable sound on unlock. I have come out from the house a couple of times to find my truck unlocked and I think it's from accidentally hitting the door handle. I'm a little hard of hearing so I don't always hear the locking mechanism inside the doors/tailgate make the sound when it unlocks. Any ideas or is this just how it is? Thanks!

Hi lakingslayer,

There is no sound associated with the unlocking mechanism like there is with the locks. However, if it helps, the lights do flash when the vehicle is unlocked, so that can be something to keep an eye on!

From the User Guide, page 11: "The turn signal lights will flash to acknowledge the unlock signal. The illuminated entry system will also turn on."

Im pretty sure it will only sound on lock and remote start not unlock.

Thank you for the responses. I'll try to keep an eye on the lights but sometimes they are hard to see in the bright sunlight.
