Pioneer sub with Metra adapter

Sorry in advance, searched and couldn't find any information. installing the pioneer sub, have the Metra harness. I know I gotta cut the connectors, just not sure the colors for + and -. I feel like I've seen a couple posts about the black being positive.

You don't cut any wires if you have the correct metra it just plugs in. I did pioneer sub and 3 infinity dash and didn't cut one wire.

The newer version has the studs that you push down and insert the bare end of the wire instead of the small/large clips.

you have to trace them back to the harness to get the way the pins connect

then hook them up accordingly per the other thread

For anyone reading this...
Cut both slip on ends and strip 1" of wire on both the black and white. Black to black, white to red. Plug both adapters to stock harnesses. You must add the sub ring and then attach to the sub box. You will need to drill new holes, I believe only 2 lined up. Attach factory harnesses outside the box and re-install.

Meh, wasn't expecting much of an upgrade and didn't get one. I'm pretty sure that if someone got in the truck before and after they wouldn't notice a difference. 6x9's in rear door made much more of an impact.
