RA4 Radio software inquiry

Hey guys,
I have a 2014 Express... originally equipped with the RA2 radio, I upgraded to an RA3 and updated the software.

RA3 info;

PN 68238621AE
SN T00BE301473545

SW Version 15.17.5

On that radio I was able to change the theme color, and the background...

My new RA4

PN 05091051AH
SN T00BE065371531

SW Version 16.13.13

I cannot access the theme setting, or change the color (default is orange would like to change to blue highlighting)

Would anyone know as to why this is?

The first radio must have been newer then the one you currently have installed. If you have the radios vin number from the donor truck then you can go to Uconnect's website to download the newest software upgrade which should give you those features.

Did you try and do a factory reset on the new radio after you put it in? I’ve seen it where all of the options are not available until after a factory reset.

I did that... it's on the most current version

No I haven't was worried it would maybe cause an issue since its no longer in the original truck

My 2013 ra3 radio doesn't have theme option and I am on 16xxxx firmware. Just orange which I don't like. I just installed a 2015 RA4 and I have multiple theme color choices, loving the blue theme.
