RCSB custom ported enclosure

My new custom box that was built by a local shop here on SoCal. Since we don't have a ton of room behind our seats my only option was to go with an external port. I am going to use a couple of Sundown Audio Sa8 v2. I will try to have everything installed by today since I still have all my wiring in place. Here is some box **** :naughty:

For those that don't know about sundown here is a couple of pics of one of the subs. The surround looks yellow because of the flash on my POS phone. Enjoy!!

Looks great man and I actually am doing the same thing with 2 Stereo Integrity 12 Mag v3s. BTW that thing is going to pound. Let me know if you need some power for those little guys

Is that 3/4" mdf or thicker?

Very interesting. I've never seen an external port. But that doesn't mean much. I'm sure it will be awesome. Seems like a good place to mount an amp or two. My only minor criticism about the box is the subs don't look like they will be recessed. But with the depth of those subs, I don't know if you have any extra room to spare.

Cool I will let you know. I still have my t1500 but its a tight squeeze under the drivers seat. Im starting to look for a good quality dsp with out the price tag but for the next few months this should be enough to hold me back until around the holidays where I can find some good deals.

I think it was 3/4 and a Shop in Montebello. Whitehorse Customs.

I didn't have much room with the way that my seat is positioned. Only way is by taking the back wall off and I can free upto about 2.5-3 inches. The guy told me I was going to be very happy with the way its sounds.

Quick update.. I got the subs installed and wired up. These little suckers get loud and hit the lows with no problem. I hade a couple of kicker 12's on my first set up and this one is no where near that. They get LOUD.
