I bought a FLASHLOGIC FLRSCHH7 remote starter
I cannot get it to work
I watched a video on you tube showing how easy it was to do
1. flashed the remote starter
2. removed plug from back of ignition
3. plugged wire from ignition to “t” harness provided
4. plugged wire from “T” harness to the back of ignition
5. plugged blue 10 pin wire from “T” harness to the blue port on the remote starter box
6. plugged black 20 plus from “T” harness to the black port on the remote starter box
7. pressed OEM unlock button “nothing happened”
8. pressed button on the remote starter box and I get a red light only should be green
no clue what’s going on

thanks

i would contact whoever sold you the unit and make sure its flashed for the truck.

This is a different brand but maybe try to turn the key to the on position and let it cycle. Then remove the key and hit the unlock button. The light should flash green after that if it's the same time of system. If you hit the lock button three times and the truck doesn't start, my guess is you might try to reflash then try the process again. Hopefully this helps alittle

Not 100% sure on this, but almost all of these you need to tag CanHi and CanLo at the ODBII port. As someone mentioned before it also needs to be flashed.

I searched google for this model and nothing comes up.

Brown/Red and Brown/Yellow MUST be hooked up. Those are your OBDII wires. Data wires are sensitive so make sure they soldered as well. It may not program without RAP hooked up either. Follow that diagram exactly and try programming again.

Yeah you definately need to hook up those two wires as stated above. Im suprised that the t harness doesnt include one for obd2 port (bad design). RAP shutdown wire is not needed for the remote start, either is parking lights, they are optional.

It's the OBDII port under the dash. Where you put your scan tools. Honestly though it sounds like you may be better off just spending $50-$100 to have a professional get it finished correctly and you won't have to stress about it.
