Remote wire

So I will attempt to install my new system tomorrow. Where did you guys connect the remote wire? I have the stock touch screen radio for the 2012.

I guess you mean the blue(blue/white) coming from your new head unit. That is the wire used to turn on a aftermarket amp.

Get a relay wire a trigger from the acc power outlet then take power straight off the battery through the relay and you have the safest way to have a remote on.
