Someone posted in one of the Alpine head unit threads that they contacted idata link and they have updated the software to work as a full replacement for the 8.4's

Does the Alpine offer all the factory options like the Kenwood? May want to double and triple check that.

Yes it all comes from I data maestro

Yup as long as the head unit is compatible with idata link then you have access to all the features that are controlled by the factory radio

Is there a scosche or Metra or similar kit you used to fill the 8.4 hole or did you buy a 5.0 bezel and adapt from there?

I just used flat plastic and cut it out and glued it to the bezel

I like this setup, what about all your settings that's in the 8.4 can u get it on the kenwood and is the usb, sd card, and aux in middle console hooked up to it?

Alpine also just released a 10" screen for the Chevy's... I want to see one of those bad boys in person. Doubt I'll ever get a customer that wants to spend that kind of money though.
