'14 RAM 1500 with 5.0 radio. When shutting off truck with SIRIUSXM on and then restarting, the radio would still be on the channel when the truck was shut off. Now the SIRIUSXM goes to channel 1 everytime I restart the truck, it is not holding the channel after being shut off. I did the "refresh" online and that didn't help, any suggestions or know how to correct the problem ? Thx.

My 5.0 radio started doing the same thing awhile ago. If I ever have to be in dealer for something else I may have them look at it, but it does bother me a bit but not enough to worry about. I just hit the Sirius number I want every time I restart.

Have thought about doing a battery disconnect to see it that corrects it, but as I said, currently don't care enough.

Is your account up to date and active? Channel 1 for XM is usually for getting the reactivation signal.

Checked to see if AM/FM held the channel after shutting down and then restarting truck, it held the same channel. So, SIRIUSXM only issue. My account is current and up to date, renewed about 2 months ago. Channel 1, for me, is the preview channel for SIRIUSXM and channel 0 is the radio code and reactivation.

Sirius sucks. Sorry to hear you are having problems, but their music channels aren't worth the headache. No commercials maybe. but the same d@mn songs over and over and over again!

I load my stuff on the I-Pod and get not only commercial free, but no vacuum skulled former VJ brain dead blather.

And the iPod doesn't play the same d@mn songs over and over again as well?
