I have a 2012 ram quad cab with the alpine system. I was wondering if anyone had the depth of the sub? I know it is a 8 in. and does anyone know the power the stock sub is getting? I am looking to replace the stock sub with an after market sub to make up for bass seriously needed. Any info would be great along with advice. This isn't my first rodeo with car audio, been doing this stuff since high school. But always a good idea to get as much knowledge as possible about the system you are dealing with before diving head first into it.

Thanks
Rob

To describe the stock system in one word ... weak ...

I'd start over with the sub and amp you like.

I agree with above. Its decent for stock but get a fox box and sub and your good to go. It fits in the same location so its all hidden
