So I need some help from the 4th gen guys. All of a sudden out of the blue my 2013 hemi has been acting up. If I leave it overnight it's kinda hard to start in the morning. And if it's anything more than like 12 hours it's completely dead. Remote start isn't working anymore either. I'll try it and it only honks once and when I get in it it says remote start disabled. Only thing I have changed on in the past 2 weeks was led reverse light bulbs and a brow. My 8.4 radio also acted up the other day and wouldn't come on no matter what I did, so I drove for 20 mins and shut it off and when I turned it back on it was fine. The puddle lights and marker lighys on the passenger side tow mirror work intermittently also. I'm at 84000km but I got the extended 120000km warranty so it should still be covered? Any help yall have would be great!

Nope, 7/8 tank and hood is fully closed. Does the remote start still work when the battery is low?

THe battery/alternator would be the first thing I would check.

My Pontiac G8 went crazy about 3 years in. things, malfunctioning, remote start not working, etc, etc. New battery fixed it immediately. Original wasn't really "dead" but I think it was getting old enough to cause issue. I think the ridiculous amount of electronics on cars these days are voltage sensitive. The smallest drop in battery performance and the various computer components start not cooperating, all of the sudden.

It seems a little OCD, but I now have a battery tender/trickle charger plug on all of my vehicles in case I have a slow week and don't drive every day or if I take the bike.

the joys of batteries that only last a couple years and cars that are so sensitive to voltage change.

So the dealer had it today, they said it was deader than dead when they tried starting it, could of told them that was gonna happen. So they reprogrammed the radio and put a new battery in it and they figured that would do it. But it is still doing the same thing so next up is the clock Spring. My question is what does the clock spring do?

Clock spring didn't do **** either. So I'm in a rental till they get it fixed. Isn't too bad, a jeep grand cherokee

EDIT:
clock spring might fix it they're not sure yet. And it's gonna be 400$ for the battery because it all of a sudden isn't under warranty. ****** crooks

So I still haven't gotten my truck back. Cluster, clock spring, radio reprogram, battery and now a bcm and they still haven't gotten it. It's getting pretty close to me telling them to buy it back or put me in a different truxk on the lot.

You got a parasitic electrical draw. Any tech worth their salt should be able to find it.

They have their "top guy" on it and he can't find the real cause of it

Then their top guy is worthless and they have mechanics and not technicians there . Seriously, you could teach an eighth grade kid in an hour to do a parasitic draw test and isolate down to the system circuit.
