Hey everyone,
I had noticed this on my previous Jeep Cherokee too but I guess it just randomly stopped. Now in my ram I'm noticing every time I start up the truck usually within about 5 minutes the Uconnect app (Iphone) launches on my phone. Anyone know how to disable this? I looked in the app but don't see any options.

I don't think you can. It automatically switches when the Bluetooth connection is made.

It's rather annoying!!
Agreed! Same on Android. Your only recourse would be to turn off media sharing if that's an option on IOS Bluetooth settings.

That defeats the purpose of connecting to the uconnect in the first place.

I have not noticed the app launching on my phone. Galaxy S7

Alright thanks guys, I feared that was the case. Yeah turning off the bluetooth would be a massive PITA.

I drove my truck yesterday and it did not auto start the app, but I also have not set it up to use the music apps like pandora - is this what you are referring to?

I mainly use it for the text feature and also sending driving directions to the Nav

No he's talking about it automatically switching inputs to BT and playing files from his phone if I'm not mistaken.

I have the same problem. It started about 2 weeks ago. The UConnect app launches on my iPhone as soon as the truck is started, I plug in the charger or enter the truck after remote starting it.

All it does is auto start the app. It doesn't switch my input to the phone BT. It's the mopar uconnect app used to remote monitor the vehicle stats as well as remote lock, start, and activate the horn.
