Unlock ONLY driver's door

So, I read my user manual and it states that when I press the unlock button once it will unlock the driver's door and to press it again to unlock all doors and the tailgate.

However, when I press my unlock, it unlocks everything. The manual states to refer to the DVD to change it but I cannot get the DVD running in my iMac.

I searched the forum and found nothing, I also searched Google and found mention on a previous generation that you hold the lock button down and then press the unlock and release them together but it did not work on mine.

I went through all the settings in the EVIC and do not think I missed anything.

So can someone please let me know how to change the unlock setting, please...

Also, the fob type is the electron key type and not the keyless entry fob. Never thought I would go back to having a key again but other than that the truck is amazing.

Mine is in the settings menu on my 8.4" radio, it's not in the evic.

My unlock options are in the 8.4N head unit under Settings.

I love this forum!!! Thanks everyone for the fast responses.

Just went out and sure enough I missed one of the settings buttons in the 8.4NAV

Probably the one of the best settings buttons, now the horn doesn't go off, only my driver's door opens and I disabled the auto unlock. I'm so digging this truck.

On a different note, I grabbed the 32GB Samsung thumb drive out of the old SUV and put it into the USB by the SD slot as the other is for power only but the unit will not recognize a drive. Not sure if it is the truck not liking the drive, will try another thumb drive tomorrow or a SD to see if maybe it is not connected?

There is a user guide and owners manual. The user guide is a summary and often refers to the DVD or Owners Manual. It is typically provided with the truck. The Owners manual has more detail and without reference. A paper copy of the owners manual is not typically provided with the truck now days, but RAM will send you one if you request it. Or you can download a PDF file. I think techauthority is the place you want to go for downloads.
