Has anyone had any luck using a USB CD Player? I bought one and plugged it into the USB port in the center console and the HU didn't recognize it. I'd like to option to listen to CD's if possible. This is the one i bought LINK

I think the USB only recognizes files and will only play certain types of media files. Although, I plug in my old iPhone and it works as a media player. I don't use it as a phone any longer because I switched to android. Now I just use it like it was an ipod touch.

Pretty sure it's not equipped to decode the data output since it doesn't have drivers like a real computer... Maybe just get a small CD Walkman and use the aux?

I have some CD's... I was wondering if I would see an improvement to SQ on cd's versus mp3s... curiosity mainly.
