usb in center console doesnt work

I had same problem with mine, turned out to be a faulty cable....have dealer check yours.

My USB port in my 2014 was replaced on a recall.

Mine will only charge my phone with one of the dozen or so cables I have. It does work perfect for a USB thumb drive with MP3s loaded onto it for playing thru the radio, which is nice because I hate the radio stations around here...

Interesting, my port works only if I unplug for a few seconds and replug. I thought the fault was intentional - so as to not drain the battery--but I now think it's just defective
