Vehicle shuts off after 30 minutes in acc/run

I went to the drive in and brought my truck. I noticed when my truck was in the acc/run position the vehicle would shut down after 30 minutes or so. Is there a way to bypass this setting?

Nope. It's driven many of us loony. That's when it bugs me the most too- at the drive in.
