Has anybody had issues with getting Waze to connect through Bluetooth?

Phone says it's connected to Bluetooth but at times the voice will only come from the phone and not the speakers on the radio.

I've disconnected the Bluetooth, turned off and on the phone and truck.

Anybody else having issues keeping Waze connected via Bluetooth?

You need to change the settings in Waze. Change the the sound output to "Play as Bluetooth on phone call"

Any other ideas? It's set that way. 4efb4f3cbadf6e1c9ba4ca4350c5cded.jpg

Just did a 700 mile trip and the damn Waze app was so unpredictable with having the Bluetooth work. Sometimes it would work and then sometimes it wouldn't. Hell. I missed one exit and had to watch the phone app 90% of the time while driving.

I think it's the app and not the Bluetooth on the truck.

So frustrating!!!

Doesn't the Iphone have a native navigation/maps app? My Android has Google Maps that has a built-in navigation feature. Have you tried that instead of Waze? That'd be one way to rule out the app specifically.
