2014 express with uconnect 5.0 and basic radio. What speakers fit in the front and rear doors? I'm reading 6x9 front and 5.25 rear, but then crutch field also says 6x9 will fit the rear? I would like to go 6x9 all around and understand depth can be an issue. Read 2.75 inches is the max. So my question is will 6x9s fit all door speakers? Thanks. Will just be running off the stock head unit for now and won't be a huge system. Just want to get rid of blown rear speakers and a little better sound.

Upon a little more research, I found the rockfords have a 2.85 inch mounting depth. Ordered them from Amazon so hopefully they work. Right at $100 with wiring adapters for all 4. Cheap, but can't lose for that price.

They're not bad, just a little inconvenient to get to the bolts due to how close they are to the windshield.

Did mine with a 1/4 inch ratchet..... Piece of cake brother takes less time and effort than the doors. Just order the adaptor harnesses from crutchfield and its gravy.

Thanks guys. I'll see how it sounds with the new 6x9s and think about the dash speakers if necessary later!

I replaced all my stock speakers and I am running the stock nav radio. Check out my post, I listed the speakers I used.

I just installed a jvc head unit, zapco amp, and a sundown audio 8 inch subwoofer. If you have premium factory system the 6x9's in the front doors are woofers only. New 6x9's will not provide any highs.

I do have to pull the door panels for the install correct? The speaker cover area doesn't pop off? Thanks.

New dash speakers are one of the most important swap, you will notice a huge difference with those alone

Thanks guys. May order the kicker 3.5s for $30 if I don't like the sound improvements.

Well that doesn't happen often where a project goes quicker/easier than expected. Had everything done in an hour and a half. Well worth the hundred bucks. The door is held on by poppers, there was a how to online where the guy actually screwed them out. If you just pop the screw part out and then the base it's much quicker and easier. There is quite a bit more bass than the stock speakers and I was able to reuse stock mounting holes and screws.
