Wiper ghosts

Hey everyone, new here. I just bought my 2013 Ram 2500. I went to lock the doors last night using the door locks, the wipers came on. I had to disconnect the battery to shut them off. Anyone ever run into this? I have read on a few Ram forums, that the phantom wiper ghosts are a sure sign the motor or switch it about to go out. I am skeptical as the wiper issues were supposedly fixed with a recall and after 2011. Just curious.

On my 2015, I get 'wiper ghosts' when my lights come on, which happens even in shaded areas during the day, I assume since I have 35% tint on my windshield. They cycle about 5 times, then stop. Also have a bulb out errors that comes on at that point due to led rear plate bulbs.
