I'm sure this has been asked a million times but I spent over an hour searching and I still couldn't find a definitive answer. Most of the results I got were for Alpine setups and the stuff I did find for base setups seemed to be about 50/50 front or rear. It seemed like the SC guys used the front speakers and the QC and CC guys used the rear, is that right? I've got everything else hooked up and ready to go, I just want to make absolutely sure I'm splicing into the correct wires before I go hacking up my factory harness. Thanks!

Well I went ahead and just tapped into the rear speaker wires, seemed to do the trick.

It sounds awesome, that little 150w 8" sub can really thump! The install was actually fairly easy, the worst part was taking out the passenger side of my bench seat to mount it underneath but that was really just more time consuming than difficult. I'll try to snap some pics later this afternoon. They really made the hook up fairly simple, all of the wires were already cut to the perfect length and spliced into a single molex connector that plugs right into the sub. I ran the power wire through the large rubber grommet on the upper driver's side firewall to the battery, connected the ground wire to the existing bolt hole in the floorboard where the jack was mounted, spliced the remote wire into the 12v cigarette lighter socket on the dash, and spliced the speaker wires into the rear speaker wires on the adapter that plugs into the back of the stereo. I've done stereo installs, speaker swaps, and amp/sub setups in about 20 different vehicles and this truck was by far the easiest to work on.

And here's where I mounted the bass knob. You can also see the cig. lighter I spliced into for the remote wire.
