Just got a brand new 17 Laramie CC and I'm already salivating all everything I've seen everyone on here do to their trucks. I am thinking of adding a few features that will require me to tap into some wires for relay signals, my question is, would using a wiretap "void" my warranty? I realize the likelihood of a tech finding the particular tap may be slim but still curious.

Don't use a wire tap first of all. Military splice and you will be fine. They can't void your warranty, they can only decline and they must prove that what you did caused the issue.

If they were to ever give you grief just pull out the old magnusson-moss act. Like stated above it covers you that they cant turn down your warranty work unless they can prove the items you installed 100% caused the issues.

i also agree on the military splice.
