I'm not near my truck....Is there a power point/connector for the mirrors inside under the dash somewhere...if yes, where?

Power/heat etc...?

And thx in advance for not asking if I used the search function. :favorites13:

The connection for heat/puddle/turn signal is behind the door panel

Is this the connector that just plugs in from the mirror itself for all power? Behind that little triangle plastic inside?

On my 2011 there is a wire harness block inside the door, just under where the window controls are. Two plugs from the mirrors connect here.

I should have asked what year your truck is .... 13+ yes
It gets a lot more tricky if you are trying to add power fold mirrors, if your truck didn't come with them.

There are 2 write ups for adding powerfold mirrors in the DIY section..1 by RicksRam and the other by 12sportmc. ... difference between them is that Rick added switches so the mirrors can fold individually if you want... and 12Sportmc added the overhead counsel, and used the rear power sliding window switch. I did Rick''s mod because I also added a power sliding rear window to my truck.

Do my mirrors(express) separate? Shell from the rest?

There is a line that looks like it separates the shell and it does move a little but I don't want to force it to find out.

Yes, I used THE GOOGLE! already.

Sweet..thx for the link.

The steps mentioned are for sport mirrors with puddle/turn signals.....

Is the separating process the same for the plain express mirrors?

I'd think it would be but I don't like to assume stuff.

I can't answer your question, but it did end up being the same for my Limited mirrors. There was a little bit of puckering going on when I pulled the first mirror off, but smooth sailing after it popped off like it was supposed to.
