Might as well thread jack here, If I may?! How does the bezel come off the 3rd gen dash? And does the radio come out with ease?

Bill, to remove the bezel, pull the cup holders, and there is some screws at the top. Take them out.

You might want to hit up your local Harbor Freight, and get a set of these.

5 Piece Auto Trim and Molding Tool Set

And the radio is also just a few small screws.
