(parking lights are working properly both by themselves and via the remote start. Blinking with lock and unlock)

2 pin door lock output harness
red – door lock connected single wire system with correct
resistor
green – door unlock output connected single wire system with correct resistor.
(door lock and unlock working properly with remote control)

the remote start is not working properly when i press the trunk button twice in 5 seconds. What happens is the parking lights flash 7 times.

Does it need to be programmed?
Do i have something wired incorrectly?
Is there something else that must be hooked up that isnt?
Thanks in advance.

Hooked up the tach wire to the negative on the number 1 coil pack. Followed instructions on how to "learn the tach" Boom done.

Figured it out

Most remote start systems use "Virtual Tach" and there is no need to connect the tach wire. It's strange that you needed to.
