that box sucks..........

don't go with shallow subs. The amp kicks ass, but keep in mind, its a refurb (not that it matters, I had that exact sub as a refurb and my 700.5 is refurbed. GREAT stuff)

They are ok on their other products........and honestly, the refurbs aren't bad. Like I said, I have had 2 amps from them and countless subs (well.......6?) all refurbs. No issues at ALL.

I one bought a sub, box, and wiring kit form Hi-Fi. The wiring kit is garbage. Definitely hold off till you find what you want. I agree with Jeremy that the amp kicks ass though.

Not only that, since the amp isn't that good neither is the amp kit. 4 Gauge wire will not handle high wattage amps, I have 2 gauge installed.

As for the box, already mentioned...it sucks. Look into FoxAcustics, they are the best underseat enclosure made. They are custom designed just for our trucks for the best performance.

I wouldn't buy it! With that kind of price there has to be something wrong with it, or something that isn't right. That old saying "you get what you pay for" comes to mind.

well its already been said for the crap box. but i would recommend rockford fosgate wire and amp kits no matter what components you use. that stuff is thick and flexible, really easy to work with.

i have 4awg running the pdx-4.100 @ 4ohms for the doors, noproblems what so ever and i have 4awg running the mrd m1005 @ 2ohms for 1000w to the subs and i have never had a problem with any of it.

alpine recommended the 4awg for the amps so that is what i used
