Question: Where is your remote wire hooked to? Do you have subs ON from the deck?

At any rate, I'm going to assume that the pics look good considering that my ISP is being rather ******** and I need to plant my boot in their ass in the morning.

remote is hooked up to the relay so the bypass will work
Yup make sure they are powered up on the unit, as mine were switched off back when I bought my unit, took me a min to fig it out, yes I found it in the destructions, looking good tho nick keep up the good work
ok ill check that tomorrow. right now the old radio had extensions that will reach the wires i have. now they are too short to reach all the way to the back of the headunit...
Looks good Nick. What head unit is that?
pioneer avh-3200dvd

That might be your problem. You do understand that the remote wire sends a low voltage signal to the amplifier telling it to turn on, right? If you have the remote connected to the wrong post on the relay, then it is not getting power sent through the line to it. Some, SOME amps are picky about how many volts it takes to accept a signal for the turn on loop, and if you're over it, then that could be another issue. Usually something like 5V IIRC.

Kick-ass man! What kind of double din did you get? You gonna fiberglass the bezel? I vote fiberglass it in, sand the whole thing, and paint it silver!

Edit: Nm didn't see this second page lol

I'm curious as to why Metra or some other company hasn't made a double din kit for the 02-05's?

Also, how was the Bondo to work with? I have only ever worked with fiber glass.

Probably......because you have to cut up the stock bezel. Not just a "plug n play" deal.

I heard if you go to the dealer they have a gps bezel for the 04/05's. But I haven't verified this, and I think they said it was like $170.

Interesting.......
