I have the console and everything out of the way, the only pieces of dash left are the actual bezel around the AC controls, radio, etc. and the plastic piece right below it that had the 2 small screws going upwards. Do I need to remove that lower piece before attempting to remove the bezel or does the bezel come off without having to remove the lower piece? I tried taking a thin flathead screwdriver around the bezel and it seems to want to come off, but it wouldn't come completely. I didn't want to break anything so just wanted to come on here and ask first. Thanks!

Yes you need to take those screws out. Wouldn't suggest using a screw driver to get the trim panel off, you run the risk of scratching it. Pick up a trim tool. You can get them cheap at Harbor Freight.

yep, like Dan said, those screws have to come out. Definitely get one of those tool sets, it will save alot of time and be safer. I got my panel pryed off with my fingers, but it was really hard and took forever.
