Got a Boss Audio flip out dvd deck as a gift. After 2 units not working properly I'm done with Boss Audio. It's boxed up and being returned.

I want a good deck with dvd/bluetooth/etc...I have a back up camera too.
Dont want to spend a fortune. Anywhere from 2-maybe 400 bucks.
I don't care if it's single flip out or double din either.
What's a good unit for what I'm looking for?
Anything factory that could be a plug & play on an '02?
There's like a gazillion decks out there and I can't decide what to get and I don't
want to make a mistake again with junk.

Well I would say go to crutchfield and have a look too see what they have for your truck then hit some of the other sites like E-Bay and see if you can get the same one for a cheaper price.

Anybody buy from or familiar with Car DVD Player, Car Electronics, Car Accessories at Qualir
They have what appears to be decent oem style replacement decks with built in dvd, gps, etc...
$350 for a direct replacement for my '02. Single din with a 4.3 inch screen and all the bells and whistles.

I went with chinese oem copy. I did a ton of research and aside from the rare not working out of the box they have very good reviews. Should be here early next week. Hopefully my truck will be up and running and out of the shop by then. Still dealing with the fuel rail issue.
Seems like a good deal. Fits right into oem dash opening with no modification and is plug and play and has all the bells and whistles.

What was your OEM radio? Mine right now has the cd and tape combo being that it's the crossover year and do you have the steering wheel controls? if so do they still work? Do you have any pics of the radio installed by chance?

Haven't done the install yet as I'm still waiting for delivery.
The radio is the same dimensions as the oem. It fits right in the existing opening with zero modification.
The screen is roughly the same size as a Samsung Galaxy or iphone.
It states total plug and play, including steering controls with no need for additional harness.
Includes everything you need aside from a camera should you want the rearview option.

Same radio. Different company. Actually, It's not too bad after I straightened out a few glitches.
The customer service was good but it was funny emailing back and forth in chinglish.
Yeah it's ok. I'da been more enthusiastic had it worked 100% out of the box.

What was wrong that you had to through customer service? Second question I have is would you buy from them again? I only ask as I was thinking of buying one in the near future just to update the radio but keep it stock looking

Had an issue with getting the gps to work. Went back and forth via email with the customer service to troubleshoot and solve the problem. The other issue is that it occasionally wont recognize cd's.
It'll read them as dvd's for some reason. The sound quality is pretty good and it does have outs for amps/subs etc...if you want to expand the sound but it sounds just fine to me as is. If you can get it under $400 to your front door then it's not a bad deal.
Install was piece of cake.

Awesome! So the sound is the same as stock pretty much then? I have the infinity system in my truck so this would work great in mine as I don't wanna rewire everything in the truck.

I'm not sure it's plug and play with the infinity. Mine already had the bypass from a different replacement deck so all I had to do was cut and splice the speaker wires on the radio harness to the infinity bypass harness. Even so, it was an extremely easy install. I'd say the sound quality is probably better than stock, nit dramatically but a little better.

How does everything else work so far? Bluetooth and iPod? Seems to good to be true for the price.

No problems with Bluetooth. Works great.
I haven't tried an ipod because I do not own one.
I have everything on my phone.
