the new alpine 10" subs should be in this week for install .

both subs are SVC 4 ohm

my amp is the kicker 400.1 im going to run them 2 ohm to get 200 RMS per sub
is this the diagram for it ..

That would be it man. Just make sure you amp can handle the 2-ohm load...

Yeah i was gonna add that since it was a kicker one I'm sure it would be but I was being yelled at to come open the grill.

what surprised me..........in my 08 I had the bass knob up almost all the way. Bass on the headunit was almost all the way up too - on the 2010, bass on the HU and the knob are at about 1/2. that ported box kicks it.

really? in my truck the bass knob was set at zero

well not even knob...the bass setting was at zero

thats what they told me . i would gain more sound out of a ported box and not to have to jack up the gain or bass boost . im sold

Looking at this quick, I thought it said," blended with the polka cd's". Whew! that was close!! lol

yeah, ported is "louder", but I want a sealed box again. The range of thump in a ported just isn't as wide.
