About a week ago I left my key on and killed my battery by accident. Ever since then my head unit won't turn off when the truck turns off and the screen on my head unit is out. It's a pioneer with a 7 inch screen. Can someone give me some pointers?

How did you reintroduce power? If you jumped it with another car you may have had a power spike. Do you have any inline fuses?

You may also be able to unplug the unit and siphon out all of the power by bridging the +/-. Depending on the unit, some have switches that require this to reset.

There could be a small reset pin on the back depending on model.

Research model number for hard reset by holding down a series of buttons.

Need a little more info on the unit.

I'll get more info. Truck was jumped. I now have a front right blinker that doesn't work as well. Just changed the bulb and no luck
