Who has installed their own Security System?

Does anyone have any recommendations for an Alarm system that they have installed?
I want remote activation, disabled starter, a alarm and possibly an remote alert.

What have you got?

Viper 5902 comes with a really nice key fob thing, and has remote start built in. Buy it on ebay for around $250. Buy the 4 extra optional sensors also on ebay for $150, get best buy to install it with a lifetime warraty for $300! Best alarm, best price!

Im going to go this route when i do my alarm system.

I bought my remote start for 275 then the alarm module for another 50 bucks then me and a buddy who was an installer got it wired in and programmed in an afternoon. Not a bad install but according to him dodges have some interesting quirks to making the system run 100%. It is a great mod and with the immobilizer and a very loud siren I feel pretty confident.

Thanks Guys, I'll check into the Viper. I figured there would be something odd about the dodge instal. lol
I got no problem with shooting a thief, but it isn't always pratical....

I have the Viper 5902 and i love it. The wheel menu comes in handy for easy access to the additional Aux channel i use. Did not get any of extra sensor modules though. Just the DEI Voice module lol.

Viper 5901 comes with a regular remote, it's a little cheaper. But the alarm is the amazing part!
