Hi All,

About to register my 2011 Dodge Ram 2500 Longhorn 4x4 SWB.

The form here in Australia needs to know the TARE WEIGHT (Kg).

I THINK this is the same as Curb/Kerb weight but not sure.

Forgetting the conversion to Kg, does anyone have a definite weight. All my research has bought up completely different answers every time.

The GVM is 4355 Kg (9580 lbs).

Thanks.

Is this a good reference:

I assume its Curb Weight = Base Weight

Yeah, I thin that link means its 7386 lbs / 2.2 = 3357.

Just wanted to make sure Base = Curb.

THANKS.

1lb=0.453xxx kg so 1kg=2.204 lbs lol
You curb weight is 3,350.23 kg

You couldn't have found a better reference baff, I would actually take a note of curb weight, GVWR and GCWR an keep it in the glove box (I drive to many different trucks and mix them up, sometimes I remember right lol)
