Has anyone ever added the OEM trailer break controller to their RAM1500?

I contemplated it. But when I bought my truck, the dealer gave me an awesome deal on a brake controller, so they did it for me.
Here is a video of how to do it. The physical part doesn't look too hard. But it has to go back to the dealer to get the computer code added (sales code--I think)
