i use 89 in my Hemi. Its only $.10 more a gallon so its not that big of a cost difference.

Only 89 in the Hemis. They start pinging if you run 87.

I tried multiple tanks of each. No noticeable differences in power or fuel economy. We pay 10 cents more per liter, so that's like you guys paying an extra 40 cents per gallon. 87 it is for me.

Haven't filled mine yet since buying it but I was thinking 87 would be okay here because of the higher elevation. 89 is "premium" here. 85/87/89 typically.

I try to run 89 in mine but lately 87 has been about 25 cents cheaper per gallon. It's hard to justify it when my truck is otherwise stock.

They are they factory steps, I'm also 6 ft and don't need them but I do love them, only set of steps I won't get rid of that come factory. My girlfriend is 5'1" and she has no problem getting in with them... Overall I really like em

I call BS, I run 85 octane with no pinging issues. 85 octane is a colorado thing, but I pay as much as 87. Another way of taking it in the shorts.:flipthebird:

I only use 93 in this truck except for when I was up near lubbock and they only had 91. The R/T I used all 87,89, and 93; felt a loss of power with 87 and the difference between 89 and 93 was negligible

My HEMI has been running on 87 since I bought it new (45k miles ago) and have never heard a ping.
