I had my center stack apart again last night messing with the lockpick.

Today it actually got warm and I realized my AC controls dont do anything now.
They dont even light up.

I just pulled it back apart and checked the plug, its in good.
We had the truck on/off a bunch of times with the AC unplugged trying to find which pins on the radio were camera inputs, but I cant imagine that did anything.

Anyone have any ideas?

Take it to the dealer, and don't tell them you messed with anything!

yeah, problem is I broke one of the tabs on the chrome bezel around the shifter while removing it
guess I could just take the lockpick back out real quick and play dumb

Figured it out!
you must have the key off before plugging in that module!

I had been plugging it in with the key on acc since theres a lot more room with the shifter in drive so you can lean that panel back to get to the plugs and you cant turn the key off without the shifter in park.
Evidently this prevents the module from initializing correctly.

Plug everything else in, then put it in park, kill the key, reach through the radio hole and plug the climate control module in with the key off and it works.

Now to put the damn lockpick back in.

Speaking of, I'm pissed about that one.
I got it off ebay and saved a few bucks, but its a V1 and doesnt have backup camera inputs - anyone know what 2 wires to tap on the radio plug to hook the RCA cable off of a backup camera to?
