home link light not on

I cannot get the so called "light" to even show itself on my home link button area. I have a 2012 Ram 1500 Laramie. What is your guess as to why no light on the button?

Yeah, I never got mine to work either. But I don't have a light, it displays in the EVIC.

EDIT: Also you posted this in a preferred vendor area, so I moved it to the 4th gen "Tech Info" section.

Just adding to this thread, fo anyone else who runs into trouble -- I, too, couldnt find a "light"......I stared at the buttons for a while like an idiot and multiple times trying, per the manual, before I realized that the message was showing up on the evic.

I think the manual is wrong or incomplete......nothing blinks or anything, just watch the messages that come up.....when learning the remote, it said "training".
