I have 2 regular keys from my dealer, and I bought a third (I always like to have a spare in case I lose one, then I don't have to pay the dealer for a reprogram.)
I got the programming instructions, but for the life of me, I can't get it into program mode for my 2014 Ram 1500 Express Quad Cab.
I insert the first key and turn to run for 5 seconds, take that out, and put the next one in and turn to run....it SHOULD go into program mode after 10 seconds, which is the alarm light flashes once, then a chime. At this point, I'm supposed to put the new key in and turn to run, the chime will go again and the alarm light will light up again and it's supposed to be programmed.
I can't get it onto program mode. Any help?
