Regearing

Hello to every body.
I am new in these forum
I have a ram 2500 2015 5.7 hemi
I planning to regear to 4.56 with stock tires .
I am triying to make it faster like 1/2 ton truck
I would like to know if i need to get new pcm and tuner to maintain correct speedometer or it speedometer reads from the information by the wheels

going to lower gears will get you off the line quicker but your over a thousand pounds heavier than a 1/2 ton. Giving up that amount of weight is your biggest problem. Going than low on gearing really going to puke your fuel economy also.
If you want faster, sell the 2500 and buy a 1500.

I want more power and torque even the cost of the fuel is higger
