2012 CONFIRMED! I just did it successfully. Followed video exact, and there was a chime on key turn to off.

I do have the display come on for seat belt warning, and then I hit "back" button to erase it. I assume everyone is doing same?

Worked for me on my 12' thanks.
I had asked the dealer when I bought it to shut the chime off as the owners manual says they can but was told they won't do it as it's unsafe. REALLY!!!! kind of pissed me off.
