I have owned my 2013 CTD 2500 for a few months now, and I am considering replacing the front coils with a heavier spring rate coil in order to give a firmer ride. Also, I was considering beefing up the rear suspension a bit too by replacing my leafs with take-offs from a 3500.
A few questions:
- What is the spring rate of my stock front coils?
- What is the spring rate of stock front 3500 coils?
- Will I have any problems replacing my rear leafs with leafs from a 3500? Seems to me that the swap should be straightforward.
And last but not least... Is there a better way for me to achieve what I want to do by going the aftermarket route?
