swap axle gears

I have 2012 ram express hemi some reason i have the 3.55 rear axle gears instead of the other optional 3.73 gears. My buddy has the 2012 challenger rt with 3.92 gears i want more torque for faster times without comprimising top speed andwithout being ridiculous on mpg. 3.73 gears , 3.92 gears or the 4.10 gears

I would go to the 4.10s from a 3.55 unless you plan on 35" or larger tires, then I would suggest the 4.56s

I am wanting to upgrade my 3.55s bad but I'm planning on trading in my truck in the near future.

right now there are no gears for 2011 or 2012 unless you get the oem 4.10's that come in the r/t's

You can't get 3.73 in a ram.

Go 3.92 or 4.10, both can be ordered from the dealership or mopar parts supplier since they're factory gear sets for the 1500

Actually the rams come with 3.55 or 3.73 gears and the r/t 4.10 but if ppl on here dont know what theyre talking about then dont reply please

As far as I have seen the 1500's do not come in 3.73. Only 3.55 and 3.92 and 4.10 for r/t

i'm sorry i was wrong....the 1500 has available gear ratios of 3.21, 3.55, and 3.92

The gear ratios are 3.55, 3.92, and 4.10 for the stock options. And if you have the 3.55 currently might as wel jump
Up to the RT 4.10 ratio gears.

haha was thinking same thing

buddy at Eaton told em there are no lockers or gears, others than OEM as they are metric...so you have to go OEM if you want gears or a locker.
